ABOUT ME
Dr. Wageih is currently an Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Languages & Translation, Al-Azhar University. He was the Chairman of the English Language and Linguistics Department at the Faculty of Languages & Translation, Al-Azhar University, for two terms. He was the Chairman of the Political Science Department and the Vice Dean for Post-Graduate Studies at the Faculty of Economics & Political Science, Future University, Egypt. He was a member in the Committee for Dialogue in the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs from 1994 to 2008. A consultant with World Bank, Washington DC from 1983 to 1986. He was a trainer at the Institute of Diplomatic Studies from 1990 to 1996 and a trainer at the Al Ahram Regional Press Institute from 1992 to 1996.
Prof. Wageih has received a variety of awards including, without limitations, the following:
- State Prize for Economic & Legal Sciences, Political Science Branch, 1998.
- Medal of Respect from Rosalyoussef Media Publication Institution, 2004.
- Medal of Appreciation from the University of Malaysia in collaboration with the Institution for Islamic DA’WA & Al Azhar Alumni League.
- Certificate of Appreciation from Arab West Understanding, 2010.
- Certification of Appreciation from the Cultural Wheel Center, 2012.
